Today, Pastor Joel played two new grace songs - “It Was God,” which is a praise song about how the life and the blessings we have all came from God. That song will be posted on YouTube after the podcast. Then Joel played a brand new Christmas song – “Jesus Wasn’t Born on Christmas Day.” That’s right. It’s epic. That and an entire hilarious Christmas album will be published on Thursday morning at 7 am EST. Then Joel talked about a couple of articles on Christian news sites about how many young people are so disillusioned by institutions that they are open to an AI run government. This is about the end times as a folk rock album based upon sermons from Joel’s “End of the World” series. Basically, a journeyman goes through the Tribulation and sings about what he sees and experiences. Then he discussed the latest Christian news, which also happened to be about AI Christian songs and “Solomon Ray” who is an AI creation at the top of the Christian music charts. He also discussed, YouVersion, which celebrated a billion downloads, and a Ken Ham article on megaraptors. Questions
Here's the biggest question I can ask you: why did Christ die on a cross? I suspect most know the answer, and that is He paid for our sins (1 Cor. 15:1-4). Paid in what sense? He took on the penalty, the consequence, for your sins (Rom. 3:25). If you place your faith in Christ and in His death, burial, and resurrection as payment for all your sins, then God the Father will give you that free gift of eternal life (Rom. 5:15-18).
Here's the second biggest question I can ask you: if you're a believer, do you know who you are in Christ? You're now identified with Christ in His victory for you on the cross. The Father now sees you as dead, buried, and risen with His Son (Rom. 6:3-4). You're now complete in Him (Col. 2:10), forgiven all trespasses (Col. 2:13), already seated in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6), and sealed by the Spirit (Eph. 1:13), which means you have eternal security.
